Developed by Australian physiotherapist Daniel Vladeta in 2008, Oov is designed according to the shape of the human spine, which has three curvatures like the human spine, allowing us to have enough spinal support during training, which can be used for sports, training or rehabilitation, exercising the core and adjusting the spine, and changing the body safely and effectively.
Because Oov is an unstable structure, when lying on Oov, the body will quickly give back to the brain, exposing the weaker muscles of the body, so that the deep core muscles of the body will be automatically awakened, which can quickly enable students to understand and realize where their body is more lacking in stability and where the range of motion is insufficient, so that our training is more efficient and the effect is more durable.
We will use Oov to induce the core muscles of the trainee under
different movements. Not much equipment is needed, a yoga mat, elastic bands or
small dumbbells. Focuses on the core muscles, including the abdominal,
lowerback, back, and gluteal muscles. By strengthening the strength and
stability of these muscle groups, you can adjust and improve your body's
balance and posture, and improve your flexibility. When the deep core and
parasympathetic nerves are properly activated, you will feel visibly relaxed and
long-term soreness can be soothed.
